And I say unto him, My lord, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they that come of the great tribulation, and they washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 7 Verse 14
In Revelation 7:14, the speaker is given a vision of a multitude of people standing before the throne of God. They are described as having come out of the great tribulation and having their robes washed white in the blood of the Lamb of God. This is a symbol of those who have endured great suffering and tribulation, yet have remained faithful to God, having been purified and made righteous through Jesus’ death on the cross. This is a reminder that no matter what suffering we may endure in this life, we can be made righteous through the sacrifice of Jesus and will be rewarded with a place in eternity with God.
