Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 6 Verse 16
The passage from Revelation 6:16 is part of the sixth seal judgment, where people from all around the world are terrified at the sight of the wrath of God. Those who have rejected God’s love and mercy are desperate for a way to escape Him, and so they plead for the mountains and rocks to fall on them to hide them from the face of God. This desperate plea is a sign of the terror and dread that these people feel in the face of God’s judgment. The Lamb, referred to in this passage, is Jesus. As the Lamb of God, Jesus has the power to judge mankind and to bring about the wrath of God. This passage serves as a reminder that God’s judgment is real and that those who reject Him will face the consequences of their actions.
