Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 21 Verse 12
Revelation 21:12 describes the city of New Jerusalem, which is the heavenly city of God. The city has a wall that is great and high, and has twelve gates, each with an angel standing guard. The names of the twelve tribes of Israel are written on each gate, symbolizing that all of Israel is welcome in the city. This is a reminder that salvation is open to all who believe in God and His promises, regardless of their past.
