Revelation Chapter 20 Verse 8

Revelation 20:8

The Bible in Revelation Chapter 20 Verse 8 says:

and shall come forth to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 20 Verse 8

Revelation 20:8 describes a scene at the end of time, when Satan is released from his prison and sets out to deceive the nations. Gog and Magog are mentioned as two of the nations that are deceived, and the number of people that are deceived is compared to the grains of sand in the sea, implying a large number. This is the beginning of the Battle of Armageddon, which is described in the next verses. The Battle of Armageddon is the final battle between good and evil, and will ultimately result in the victory of God and the establishment of his eternal Kingdom.
