Revelation Chapter 20 Verse 4

Revelation 20:4

The Bible in Revelation Chapter 20 Verse 4 says:

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and [I saw] the souls of them that had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and such as worshipped not the beast, neither his image, and received not the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand; and they lived, and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 20 Verse 4

This passage from Revelation describes the final judgment of those who had been martyred for their faith in Jesus Christ and for their loyalty to God’s word. The souls of those who had been beheaded for their faith were given thrones and were allowed to reign with Christ for a thousand years. This was a sign of God’s justice and mercy, as those who had been persecuted for their faith were rewarded with eternal life and a seat at the right hand of God. It is a reminder to all believers that when they remain true to God, they will be rewarded in the end.
