Revelation 2:27
The Bible in Revelation Chapter 2 Verse 27 says:
and he shall rule them with a rod of iron, as the vessels of the potter are broken to shivers; as I also have received of my Father:
Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 2 Verse 27
In Revelation 2:27, Jesus speaks to the church in Thyatira about the authority he has received from his Father. He tells them that all who oppose him will be ruled with a rod of iron, and will be broken to pieces like a potter’s vessels. This is a metaphor for the power of God’s judgment, and a reminder that in the end, only Jesus’ authority will remain. It is a warning to those who would oppose him, while at the same time, a promise of hope to those who follow him.
