Revelation 18:5 is a warning of God’s judgment upon the great city of Babylon. The passage states that Babylon’s sins have reached up to heaven, and that God will remember her iniquities and punish her accordingly. This is a reminder to all who live in the world that God will not allow the wicked to escape His judgment and wrath.
