Revelation 17:8
The Bible in Revelation Chapter 17 Verse 8 says:
The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and is about to come up out of the abyss, and to go into perdition. And they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, [they] whose name hath not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast, how that he was, and is not, and shall come.
Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 17 Verse 8
Revelation 17:8 speaks of a beast coming out of the abyss and going to destruction. Those on the earth who have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will be amazed at the beast, how it was and is not, and will come again. This beast is likely symbolic of the Antichrist, who will come on the scene and cause destruction before the Day of Judgment.
