Revelation 17:15
The Bible in Revelation Chapter 17 Verse 15 says:
And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the harlot sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.
Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 17 Verse 15
In Revelation 17:15, John is given a vision from God in which he sees a harlot seated upon many waters. The angel explains to John that the waters represent the peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues of the world. The harlot represents the false power and authority of the world, which deafens people from the truth of God and leads them into sin. This is a warning to the Church of the dangers of the world and its false power, and a reminder to remain steadfast in faith and obedience to God.
