And the fourth poured out his bowl upon the sun; and it was given unto it to scorch men with fire.
Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 16 Verse 8
In Revelation 16:8 of the Holy Bible, the fourth angel is said to have poured out his bowl upon the sun. This causes the sun to become incredibly hot, to the point that it scorches men with fire. This is a sign of God’s judgement upon the earth, and is a part of the seven bowls of God’s wrath that are mentioned in the Book of Revelation. The scorching of men with fire is a symbol of suffering and destruction, and is a sign of God’s anger at the sins and injustices of mankind.
