Revelation 14:20
The Bible in Revelation Chapter 14 Verse 20 says:
And the winepress are trodden without the city, and there came out blood from the winepress, even unto the bridles of the horses, as far as a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 14 Verse 20
Revelation 14:20 describes the aftermath of a great battle. The winepress is a symbol of the Judgment of God which has been executed upon the earth. The blood that comes out of the winepress is a sign of the great slaughter that has taken place. The blood is so great that it flows from the winepress, even reaching the bridles of the horses, for a distance of a thousand and six hundred furlongs, or two hundred and forty miles. This gruesome scene symbolizes the devastation and destruction that will come upon the enemies of God as a result of His judgment.
