Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 14 Verse 18

Revelation 14:18 is a verse from the Bible in the book of Revelation, which is part of the New Testament. This verse speaks of an angel who comes out from the altar and has power over fire. The angel calls out with a loud voice to the one who holds the sharp sickle and commands him to send out the sickle and gather the ripe clusters of grapes from the vine of the earth. This is a call to harvest, as the grapes are fully ripe and ready to be gathered. The symbolism in this verse suggests that the angel represents God and the vine of the earth represents mankind. The angel is calling for the harvest of souls, as the time of judgment is coming and everyone’s fate will be decided.
