Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 13 Verse 2
Revelation 13:2 speaks of a beast that has the characteristics of a leopard, a bear, and a lion. This beast is given great authority by the dragon, which is a reference to Satan. The beast is a symbol of power and tyranny, and it is a warning to the faithful to beware of the forces of evil that seek to destroy them. The beast is also a symbol of the coming of the Antichrist, a figure of the end times.
