Revelation 13:17
The Bible in Revelation Chapter 13 Verse 17 says:
and that no man should be able to buy or to sell, save he that hath the mark, [even] the name of the beast or the number of his name.
Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 13 Verse 17
Revelation 13:17 states that the beast, who is a figure of evil, will have authority to control the buying and selling of goods, with the only people permitted to do so being those who have the mark of the beast. This mark is either the name of the beast or the number of his name, which is 666. This verse warns of a future time of persecution for those who refuse to take the mark of the beast and follow his commands.
