Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 1 Verse 10
John, the author of Revelation, is on the Lord’s day and is in a trance-like state when he hears a loud voice behind him that sounds like a trumpet. He turns to see the speaker and is overwhelmed with a vision of Jesus. Jesus is described as having the appearance of being on fire, with eyes like flaming fire, and a voice like the roar of many waters. He is also wearing a golden sash, and has a sharp two-edged sword coming from His mouth. The sight of Jesus fills John with awe and fear.
