Revelation 1:1
The Bible in Revelation Chapter 1 Verse 1 says:
The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show unto his servants, [even] the things which must shortly come to pass: and he sent and signified [it] by his angel unto his servant John;
Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 1 Verse 1
This verse is the opening of the book of Revelation. It introduces the book as the “Revelation of Jesus Christ” that was given to him by God. It is intended to show the servants of God what will soon come to pass. The angel of God sent the message to John, a servant of God, to signify that these events will indeed come to pass. The book of Revelation contains prophecies of the end times and is an important book of the Bible.
