1 John 5:13
The Bible in 1 John Chapter 5 Verse 13 says:
These things have I written unto you, that ye may know that ye have eternal life, [even] unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God.
Interpretation of 1 John Chapter 5 Verse 13
1 John 5:13 is a reminder that those who believe in the name of Jesus Christ as the Son of God have eternal life. This is a promise from God to us, that through faith in Jesus we have the assurance of eternal life in Heaven. The Apostle John encourages us to hold on to this assurance, knowing that no matter what life throws at us, we have an eternal hope beyond this life. No matter what trials and tribulations we face in this life, we can take comfort in the knowledge that God’s love and grace never fails us, and that we have the assurance of eternity with Him.
