Revelation 21:21
The Bible in Revelation Chapter 21 Verse 21 says:
And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the several gates was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 21 Verse 21
Revelation 21:21 speaks of the New Jerusalem, the city described in the Book of Revelation. The city has twelve gates, each one made of a single pearl. In addition, the streets of the city are made of pure gold, so clear that it looks like transparent glass. This is a symbol of the perfect beauty and holiness of the New Jerusalem, which is said to be the heavenly home of the saints.
