Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 20 Verse 14
Revelation 20:14 is a verse from the Book of Revelation, the last book in the New Testament of the Bible. In this verse, it is stated that death and Hades, two personifications of the afterlife, will be cast into the lake of fire, which is a metaphor for ultimate destruction. This is referred to as the second death, which symbolizes the end of life as we know it and a punishment for sins. All people, regardless of their faith, will face the second death and will be judged accordingly. The lake of fire is often seen as a place of torment and punishment, but it is also a symbol of hope, in that it signifies the ultimate victory of God over evil and sin.
