Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 18 Verse 16
Revelation 18:16 is a warning from God to the people of the great city. He proclaims a woe upon the city for its wealth and excess, as it was adorned with fine linens, purple and scarlet fabrics, and decked with gold and precious stones. God is warning the city that it will be brought to ruin due to its opulence and lack of humility. He calls for the city to repent and turn away from its pride and arrogance, lest it be destroyed.
