Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 18 Verse 15
In Revelation 18:15, the warning is that the merchants of the earth, who have become wealthy off of the great city, will stand far away in fear of her torment and weep and mourn. This is a warning of the destruction of the great city, which symbolizes the end of an oppressive system, and the restoration of justice and righteousness. The merchants, who have profited from the system, will be devastated when it is destroyed, and will weep and mourn from a distance.
