Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 18 Verse 10
In Revelation 18:10, a voice from Heaven is heard speaking of Babylon, the great city, and its impending judgment. People stand at a distance in fear, calling out “Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the strong city!” The judgment of Babylon is imminent and it is coming in one hour. This is a warning to all people who take part in the Babylonian lifestyle, which is characterized by pride, luxury, materialism, and immorality. They are urged to repent and turn away from their sinful ways before God’s judgment falls upon them.
