Revelation 18:3

The Bible in Revelation Chapter 18 Verse 3 says:

For by the wine of the wrath of her fornication all the nations are fallen; and the kings of the earth committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth waxed rich by the power of her wantonness.

Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 18 Verse 3

Revelation 18:3 is a warning about the dangers of worldly and materialistic pursuits. It is a condemnation of the sins of idolatry, immorality and greed. The verse is saying that by allowing themselves to be caught up in these sins, the nations, kings and merchants of the earth have “fallen”, and have become rich and powerful through their lust for power and wealth. This is a reminder to us to resist the temptation of worldly gain, and to instead focus our attention on God and His will for us.
