Revelation 18:2 is a prophetic warning of the impending judgment of Babylon the great. In the Book of Revelation, Babylon the great is often used as a symbol for a nation or group of nations that are devoted to wickedness and idolatry. In this passage, the angel of the Lord is proclaiming that Babylon the great has fallen, and that it has become a place of demons, unclean spirits, and hateful birds.
