Revelation 16:11
The Bible in Revelation Chapter 16 Verse 11 says:
and they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores; and they repented not of their works.
Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 16 Verse 11
In Revelation 16:11, the angel of the Lord is pouring out the seventh bowl of God’s wrath upon the earth. In response to this, the people of the earth blaspheme the God of heaven because of their pain and sores which have been inflicted upon them. Despite this, they do not repent of their sins and deeds. This shows that even when faced with the consequences of their actions, they still refuse to turn away from their sinful ways and turn to God. God’s judgment and mercy are both evident in this passage, as the people are being punished for their sins, but are still given the opportunity to repent.
