Revelation Chapter 12 Verse 4

Revelation 12:4

The Bible in Revelation Chapter 12 Verse 4 says:

And his tail draweth the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon standeth before the woman that is about to be delivered, that when she is delivered he may devour her child.

Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 12 Verse 4

In Revelation 12:4, a dragon is described as having a tail that draws a third of the stars from the sky and casts them to the ground. This is a reference to the fall of Satan from Heaven, as mentioned in Isaiah 14:12. The dragon is then described as standing before a woman who is about to give birth, in an attempt to devour her child as soon as it is born. This is a reference to the birth of Jesus and the attempt by Satan to prevent it. This is seen in the Gospel of Matthew, where Herod orders the death of all children under two years old in the area in an attempt to destroy the newborn Jesus.
