Revelation 10:10
The Bible in Revelation Chapter 10 Verse 10 says:
And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and when I had eaten it, my belly was made bitter.
Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 10 Verse 10
In Revelation 10:10, John the Revelator is given a little book from an angel. He takes the book and eats it, and it tastes sweet like honey. However, once he has eaten it, his stomach begins to feel bitter. This symbolizes the duality of God’s word. It can be sweet and comforting, but it can also be difficult to accept and can bring displeasure. The little book is a representation of the Word of God, and John eating it is a sign of his faith and willingness to accept it.
