Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 9 Verse 12

Revelation 9:12 is a verse from the Book of Revelation in the New Testament of the Holy Bible. In this verse, an angel announces that the first of three woes is over and two more are on their way. This is said in the context of a vision of a star that has fallen from heaven and has the power to open the bottomless pit, from which smoke and locusts come out to torment people. This is a warning of the coming judgment of God on the world. The two remaining woes, which are to come after the first, will be even more severe than the first.
