Revelation 8:2
The Bible in Revelation Chapter 8 Verse 2 says:
And I saw the seven angels that stand before God; and there were given unto them seven trumpets.
Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 8 Verse 2
Revelation 8:2 is the beginning of a vision that the Apostle John has in which he sees seven angels. These angels are standing before God, and they are each given a trumpet. The sound of the trumpets will be used to announce the coming judgments of God. The judgments will include catastrophic events like earthquakes, hail, and fire. The judgments are meant to serve as warnings to the world to turn away from their wickedness and turn to God. After the trumpets are sounded, the seals of the book of Revelation will be opened, and further judgments will be announced.
