The Bible in Revelation Chapter 6 Verse 11 says:
And there was given them to each one a white robe; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little time, until their fellow-servants also and their brethren, who should be killed even as they were, should have fulfilled [their course].
Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 6 Verse 11
In the sixth chapter of Revelation, the Lamb of God opens the sixth seal of seven, and a great earthquake occurs, followed by the sun becoming black and the moon becoming red. Following this, the stars of heaven fall to the earth, and the heavens are rolled back as a scroll. The kings of the earth, the great ones, the rich men, and the chief captains, hide themselves in the dens and rocks of the mountains. The Kings of the earth and the great men cry for the rocks and mountains to fall on them and hide them from the wrath of God. Then, the sixth seal is opened, and the four angels are released from the four corners of the earth, and the four winds are restrained.
At the opening of the sixth seal, a great multitude of people appear, clothed in white robes, standing before the throne of God. The white robes signify the righteousness of these people, and it is said that they were given each a white robe. It is then said to them that they should rest yet for a little time, until their fellow-servants and their brethren, who would be killed even as they were, should have fulfilled their course. This signifies that those who have been faithful to God, even to death, will not have to wait long to receive their reward in Heaven.
