Revelation 6:6
The Bible in Revelation Chapter 6 Verse 6 says:
And I heard as it were a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, A measure of wheat for a shilling, and three measures of barley for a shilling; and the oil and the wine hurt thou not.
Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 6 Verse 6
This verse from Revelation 6:6 is part of the sixth seal of the Book of Revelation. It is a warning from God to the people of the world to be careful with their resources. The four living creatures represent the four elements of nature and the voice is a warning from God to not waste resources, particularly wheat, barley, oil, and wine. These are basic food items that God wants to make sure are not wasted. This is a reminder of God’s grace and mercy, and that he cares for the needs of his people.
