Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 2 Verse 1
In Revelation 2:1, Jesus Christ is speaking to the angel of the church in Ephesus. He introduces himself as the one who holds the seven stars in His right hand and walks among the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars represent the seven angels of the seven churches, and the seven candlesticks represent the seven churches themselves. Jesus is showing His authority over the churches by His presence in their midst. He is reminding them that He is Lord and Master of all. He is exhorting them to remain faithful to Him and to His Word.
