Revelation 1:11
The Bible in Revelation Chapter 1 Verse 11 says:
saying, What thou seest, write in a book and send [it] to the seven churches: unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamum, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
Interpretation of Revelation Chapter 1 Verse 11
John, the author of Revelation, is instructed by Jesus to write down all that he has seen in a book, and to send it to the seven churches of Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia, and Laodicea. This book contains a message of hope and promises of comfort to these seven churches, in addition to warnings of judgement if they turn away from God. Jesus desires that the book of Revelation be shared with these churches to demonstrate His love for them, and to encourage them to remain faithful to Him.
